Had such a nice meal here, and the service was so quick and attentive, considering it was a really busy Saturday night! There's a great menu with lots of options and something everyone would like! The prices are very competitive with other places around. The food we had was absolutely delicious, and I had the best fish and chips I've had for a long time. Had the mini crumble and hot drink, and it was still a really good size. The staff were all so friendly and made our visit. There is a carpark but it's small and was full. We parked in the car park next to Sainsbury's, which was close by and free after 6 pm.
This pub is fabulous! Bathed in natural light, it’s incredibly cozy and inviting. The staff are super friendly, always attentive, and serve exactly what you need. The food and drinks are phenomenal—perfectly balanced flavors and textures. It’s the ideal spot to unwind and enjoy a leisurely lunch!
This would be my second experience and it was excellent, just like the first. That's the reason I came back with my family in the first place. Really beautiful ambience, great food and superb service! Side note - The restrooms sparkle
The service was outstanding, the food servings were very generous and in comparison to other places it was good value for money. The young lad that served us on Monday evening, 12th May went above and beyond and the girl that brought us the bill was very pleasant. I used to have a coffee franchise with 22 staff, these guys that served us last night are an absolute credit to this pub, so thank you!
A good selection of well kept, cask conditioned ales from Hydes Brewery with first class service from this regular entry to the Good Beer Guide. Such a comfortable pub to have a mid-morning pint.

We all enjoyed a lovely meal here, everything cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. Lots of choice on the menu although vegetarian choices a little limited and a few dishes not available. Staff and service were very good and toilets very clean. The decor and atmosphere was interesting and welcoming. Will definitely eat here again. 5*
My wife and I called in late Sunday afternoon on the off chance and were greeted with a warm welcome. We were given the choice of eating in the pub or the restaurant and opted for table service in the restaurant. We had the Sunday roast platter to share and it was excellent. More than plenty of both meat and veg and both were cooked beautifully. The staff were also very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. Great job all round and will definitely return for another visit. fantastic quality, service and value for money.
